band bio: joe
Joseph Vincent Cardinale Lead Vocals, 2 Days Of Funk
Born June 3rd, 1989
With a deep passion for music his entire life, Joe began singing at the age of
16 while still in high
school. After being asked by a group of his friends if he was interested in joining their band, Joe thought
he would give it a try. As time passed with endless amounts of practice and everything going well, Joe and
the band decided it was time to play out at local venues across Buffalo, New York. The band was known as The
Road Home, and they would soon be a hit everywhere they played. Places like Root Five, Mickey Rats, Milligan's
Pub, Club Infinity and many more would have people shouting for one more song on every occasion. The band,
which maintained their strong dedication to cover material, would also begin to feature original music of their
own. Songs like "Sunday
at the Sunrise," "Roll On Two," and "Little Miss Pretty" (complimented with a sensational drum solo from the
likes of Dan Sheppard) were all a part of their set list on any given night. So from November of 2005 to July of
2007, Joe would assume front man responsibilities of a young band with astronomical potential. Unfortunately,
because of college, the lead guitarist of The Road Home chose to move away which led to the band's untimely breakup.

Having enjoyed singing so much, Joe would choose to continue on his musical path.
In the months to come, he would
try out for an established alternative band in Buffalo, NY called Lever Down. Being the band formerly known as Hastings,
Lever Down was looking to go into a new musical direction and decided to hire Joe as their singer. They would play
places such as Blue Cross Arena, Club W, and Rock 'N' Roll Heaven. At most of these shows, the band would play with
a fill-in drummer, and Joe thought it would be a good idea to mention The Road Home's Dan Sheppard who was currently
without a band. So at their next practice Dan came in and he was an instant hit. The band immediately hired him and
Joe and his close friend were back together and playing music once again. Although the band was doing great, Joe
and Dan decided that the music they were playing just wasn't what they really enjoyed. Now with a good résumé in
both of their pockets, they have set out to form their new band and where they currently are today: 2 Days Of Funk.
Joe's interests include sports such as baseball, football, and hockey. His favorite
teams are the New York Yankees,
the Buffalo Bills, and the Buffalo Sabres. He also enjoys listening to his favorite bands which are Led Zeppelin,
The Beatles, Gov't Mule, Joe Bonamassa, and Johnny Winter. He loves going to concerts with his friends and simply
having a good time. He is currently attending Canisius College and is majoring in Adolescence Education with a
concentration in Mathematics. To learn more about Joe, become his friend on
