The next time you hear a loud roar of thunder on a nice sunny day, you should think twice and realize that it is probably Dan playing the drums.

For the past four years Dan has been teaching himself how rock drumming is originally intended to be played. While only a freshman in high school, Dan wanted to be in a band with his best friend Dexter. They both would fool around with songs in Dan's basement just to have fun, but they never really got anything meaningful going. During that time they both learned each other's interests in music which led them to explore new artists and various different styles. Being into heavy, fast paced rock and roll, Dan's first song he learned was "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. From there on out, Dan devoted most of his spare time to a CD Player, a pair of headphones, and a large amount of patience. Without Dan the band members agree that they would just be another average band with no aspirations. Dan just simply brings a new kind of attitude to drumming that can compared to his heroes John Bonham and Ian Paice.

Dan's 5 piece Pearl Export kit consists of all Zildjian cymbals including a set of 15" A series new beat high hats, a 17" Z Custom crash, a 18" K crash/ride, a 22" K Custom ride, and a 14" ZXT china cymbal.

While in The Road Home, Dan proclaims that it was one of the best experiences that his short life has yet to offer, but he hopes and is confident that 2 Days Of Funk can exceed his standards. His favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Joe Bonamassa, Collective Soul, and Gov't Mule. His favorite venue that he ever played was Showplace Theatre in Buffalo, NY.

Dan also enjoys cars, hunting, knives, and other various macho man activities that don't involve any type of safety precautions. He loves spending time at his father's cabin in Angelica, NY. Check Dan out on Facebook.
